Chairman

Mark Ford is Auckland-based, and currently the CEO of Watercare Services Ltd, a position he has held since 1994 — except for a period as Executive Chair of the Auckland Transition Agency, the government agency responsible for planning and managing the transition to Auckland's new governance arrangements. Mr Ford was recently appointed to oversee the Stronger Christchurch Infrastructure Rebuild Team (SCIRT) — a joint partnership of Christchurch City Council, Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (CERA) and NZ Transport Agency — and its work with contractors. He is currently serving as the Chair of Auckland Transport, but will be stepping down from this role at the end of September 2012.

Alan Broome

Alan is an Australian based mining and minerals expert who has extensive experience in metal casting and steel production. Alan is the Chair of several coal related companies and associations, including CRL Ltd, was Managing Director of Australian Coal Industry Research Laboratories and the founding Chairman of ASX listed Endocoal Ltd.

David Patterson

David is a consultant at Chapman Tripp and was previously a partner at Minter Ellison Rudd Watts (for 21 years) specialising in commercial structuring and taxation law. David is a current Board member of Fulbright New Zealand (2009 to present); Chairman of Tennis New Zealand (2007 to present); and Former Chairman, International Fiscal Association, New Zealand Branch (2006 and 2007).

Neville Sneddon

Neville Sneddon

Neville Sneddon is a mining engineer with over 40 years' experience in the Australian mining industry. He is presently Chairman of Stanmore Coal and a Director of Envirogen and CSM Energy. He held a senior role in the NSW Mines Department in charge of inspectors, and from 1999 to 2007 he was COO and later CEO of Shell Coal, subsequently Anglo American's Australian coal operations.

Neville has held several Board positions including Chairman of the operating company at Dalrymple Bay, and Director of Port Waratah Coal Services, Hebden Mining, Jellinbah Coal, Centennial Coal and the Queensland, NSW and National Mining councils. He has been a member of the NSW Mine Subsidence Board, the NSW Mines Rescue Board, Queensland Ministerial Coal Mine Safety Advisory Committee and the joint Federal / State advisory committee developing nationally consistent mining safety legislation.

Pip Dunphy

Pip Dunphy has worked in New Zealand financial markets for more than 20 years, assisting local and offshore companies in capital raising, interest rate and currency risk management. She currently serves on the boards of Abano Healthcare Group, Fonterra Shareholders Fund, Auckland Transport, New Zealand Clearing and Depository Corporation, New Zealand Post, Mint Asset Management, New Zealand Superannuation Fund and Motu. Previous roles have included directorships at the Accident Compensation Commission and Earthquake Commission.
